About me...
Yoga Teacher since 2016
I first learnt about yoga at the age of 5 and have been teaching others how to develop physically and mentally through yoga, meditation, and mindfulness since 2016.
I aim to help people understand how to manage stress and live with more presence, as well as how to create ease in the body, mind and breath so that they can live with more mindfulness and freedom in their daily lives.
I believe that the body is one of our greatest gifts as human-beings, and that by creating a healthy relationship with it we can develop a stronger sense of intuition, more kindness and compassion towards ourselves and others, and the ability to self-regulate when we feel stressed, anxious or overwhelmed. I think that becoming stronger and more flexible, through yoga, are great benefits but the ability to stay present and balanced in daily life are even greater.
To me, a consistent mindfulness practice is imperative to unlocking one's full potential, and when working with private clients I use a holistic approach by taking into account their daily routine and habits so that their practice can fit into their schedule in a way that works best for them.
I have taken my classes, workshops, and retreats all over the world, and I've been lucky enough to work with a wide range of people - from martial artists to dancers, to powerlifters, and all the lovely people in between.
In a typical yoga class I like to explore the balance between movement and stillness, with a sense of play, curiosity and self-compassion at the core.
The styles I teach are Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Satria Yoga, Hatha Ashtanga, Embodied Yoga for Trauma Resilience, Yoga Nidra, and Guided Meditation. I use these different styles and techniques to create classes that cater to groups and individuals.
Why Practice Yoga?

IT'S NOT YOUR HISTORY BUT YOUR PRESENCE ON THE MAT THAT MATTERS - SRI K. PATTABHI JOIS
I believe that the practice of yoga is for everyone - regardless of your past, physical & mental state, occupation, age etc. Yoga is not simply physical exercise, it is a practice that teaches us how to let go of the false layers we hold onto, the made-up beliefs about ourselves, the emotional and physical pain we carry. It is not about accumulating anything, it is about shedding away all the nonsense that stops us from becoming the best version of ourselves.
The body & mind are the greatest tools we have, and when in absolute balance they have the power to unlock our full potential as human beings.
That is why I love helping people on a physical level - it's a lot easier to live a happy & fulfilled life when there is minimal pain in the body (and mind)! A stiff body often translates as a stiff mind, and vice versa.
I aim to help people understand the relationship between the body and the mind, and show them the wonderful benefits a consistent yoga practice has on a physical, mental and personal level.
